Jesus Christ is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Christ’s death was the Great Passover sacrifice for us. He shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins. There is no greater blessing.

But those who prefer power, prestige and sin, will always resist their need for salvation. And nothing can hold them back from their selfish deeds.

Jesus was put to death because His teachings challenged false-religion, and those men that held the power and position over it.

On Jesus’ way to the cross there was a woman who loved and completely adored Him; a devoted servant ready to give her all for Him.

At the last supper Jesus told His disciples that He would send the Holy Spirit, the comforter, to lead and guide. Jesus took bread, and said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup of wine, and said, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

The bible tells us to train to be godly. It explains that we labor and strive, because we’ve put our hope in the living God.

The Apostle Paul was called by God to be a church planter. By God’s grace, Paul had wonderful success preaching the gospel of Christ from town to town. The Holy Spirit can grace us with the same strength, courage, and wisdom that He graced Paul with.

Paul’s strategy was to expose falseness that opposed God‘s Word, and to develop a personal holiness. And this is the strategy that the Lord has given to us, His church.

Let us all be firm, fair and loving. Do you desire to be a good and faithful Christian, a true servant of the Lord? I hope and pray you do.

The early church was warned about straying from the truth, deception, and loosing faith. But thank goodness the gospel is so simple that anyone can understand its truth, and have faith in God.

The bible says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.”

God unconditionally loves us. He knows how much pain and sorrow we’ll cause, but He still loves us.

We can’t fathom the depths of God’s love, mercy and grace. But our faith is the channel through which we experience God’s love. His love becomes our new nature which is stronger than our old nature. And our new nature allows us to better understand His infinite love.

We should never sit down at a table without thanking God for His gifts. What a blessed thing it is when the Word of God is honored and the sweet prayers of His people ascend to heaven. Let us listen to His truth and praise Him forever! Amen.

Today I hope God’s truth will be abundantly clear and accepted by all of us.

God’s household is the church of the living God. The church that teaches His Word is the pillar and foundation of the truth.

God reveals the truth of who He is, through His incredible creation, through His Word in the bible, and through the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

God offers the gift of truth and eternal life. But the only way that we can receive His gifts is by believing in Christ.

Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father in all His glory. He is the Lord, and He reigns on high. His saints adore Him. And we all look forward to meeting Him face to face.

Great is the mystery of His godliness. But His church is revealed to those who truly believe and have committed themselves to Christ. Have you been set free by His truth? I hope and pray that you are free!

Are you using your gifts for the glory of God, and to benefit each church member? I hope and pray you are.

The Church is the bride of Christ and it is Christ that strengthens, perfects and prepares us for glory in heaven. Christ gives us gifts and graces for the good of His church, and to advance His kingdom among men. He gives to everyone in His church, so that we may learn to give for His glory. Our priority must be to serve others. Jesus taught us that we are all servants. Regardless of our gift, whatever capacity God has given us, we are to minister and serve one another, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.

God intended us to grow by meeting, serving one another, loving one another and praying for one another. We should grow in grace and knowledge of our dear Lord Jesus; speak the truth in love and peace. So that we love Him more; trust Him more; depend upon Him more, and be more like Him in every way.

We are all to be in ministry to one another. Teach the pure Word of God. Serve with effort, integrity, and honesty. Help those in need with love and generosity. Bring comfort to the sick. Sing unto the Lord and not to each other.

The bible says, “If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.”

It is vitally important for us to have a good name, especially with Christ.

The bible tells us that we will never see God’s kingdom in heaven unless we confess, have sincere faith in our hearts, are willing to submit to God, commit to Him, and be changed by Him.

The bible says that our faith in Christ brings us salvation. We cannot earn salvation. Yet the Bible also says that only those who obey, trust and really love the Lord will be called His friends. And that is why it is foolishness to think that a mere profession of faith will gain salvation. As the bible says, “Faith without works is dead.”

If you have been truly saved by Christ, then Christ will change you, and the fruit of that change will be evident. God rejoices in those who truly believe and delight in Him. Their worship is God-centered, joyful, and considerate.

The most important thing is our standing with Christ, and to hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant, come walk and dine with me” How about you? Is that your hope and prayer?

Everything we need to know about managing our families can be found in God’s Word. The bible tells us that we should be gentle and considerate; that we should live peacefully and quietly, so that God will hear our prayers.

Husbands should protect their wives; delight in their company; provide for them; trust them, have confidence in them; love them, and show compassion. A father should support the mother’s authority in raising and disciplining children.

Teach your children Christ’s joyful message of repentance and faith. It turns hearts away from sin, and towards God. It produces the deepest possible love, agape love.

Jesus Christ’s divine power is the fountain of all spiritual blessings. Christ has given us everything we need to live a life that is pleasing to Him.

We are able to grow in God’s love, grace and holiness all by His power, and for His glory. When God has finished His work in us we will fully know His love in heaven. Forever and ever. Amen

Growing up, I didn’t see many good male role models, and so I ended-up going where I should have gone in the first place, to the Word of God.

As was said last week, God made distinctions to our gender roles to avoid chaos and confusion. This is God’s perfect will, for our protection and blessings.

The bible says. “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”

God gave us our roles, both in nature and in the church. And by nature, God has made men to be the family provider and leader. Husbands have a duty to lead their family and to please God. Christ is our example of how to lead, with love, compassion, gentleness and self-sacrifice.

The bible says, “Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.”

No amount of training or ecclesiastical recognition can transform a man into a pastor. It’s the head of the church Himself, Jesus Christ who gives such a gift to His people. Help them in their task, for they would love to give a good account of themselves and their congregation. There is no greater joy.

A man who delights in the Word of God, with a godly faithful life, has a profound affect on his wife, his children, and all who come in contact with him. May all of us be that way to the glory of God. The Lord has given everything we need for life, for spiritual growth and for eternity. He is the One who deserves our hearts. I hope and pray that you have given it to Him.

There are few things that bring more contention and malign the Word of God more than a vain, carnal, self-seeking, rebellious person.

God made distinctions on our gender roles to avoid chaos and confusion. This is God’s perfect will, for our protection and blessings. God is the God of order and not disorder.

God has given us our places, both in nature and in the church. And by nature God has made women to be the nurturer. A women’s primary place is in the home, being a helpmate to her husband, and loving and caring for her children.

There is a promise to Christian women in Ephesus that they will be saved in child-birth; that the pain and suffering would awaken and remind them how precious their child’s life is, and that the deepest satisfaction will come from accomplishments at home.

The Bible says women are not to flaunt their beauty or wealth, nor to spend inordinate amounts of time in front of the mirror. A Christian woman’s attractiveness is not seen in their outward appearance, but in their meekness, quietness and good works. Their real beauty springs from the heart in submission to the Spirit of God.

That is not to suggest that a women surrender her mind or conscience and become a door mat or a robot. Women should judge for themselves, and submit to Christ.

A woman that lives a godly faithful life; that delights in the Word of God, will have a profound affect on her husband, her children and all who come in contact with her. May all of you ladies be that woman to the glory of God. The Lord has given everything we need for life, for spiritual growth and for eternity. He is the One who deserves your heart. I hope and pray that you have given it to Him.

God has always revealed Himself to us. He has revealed Himself to us through His handiwork, namely the creation of all things. He has imprinted his moral law, knowing right from wrong, in the hearts (minds) of all people.

But sin hardens us; and keeps us from knowing Him. Sin corrupts our conscience until it can no longer be trusted to alert us. Satan may convince us to doubt the Word of God, and stray from God. But we can comfort our troubled souls by realizing what Christ has done for us.

The only way to have a clear conscience is to turn to God through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We are purified by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We’ve been clothed with His royal robes of righteousness. And our self-serving dead works are transformed into service for the living God.

The bible says, “To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.”

The bible warns us to hold on to our faith in Christ, in the Word of God, and our good conscience, or risk a shipwreck of our faith. And it is our responsibility to walk before God with a good conscience, a pure heart, and with sincere faith.

On judgment day, no one will have an excuse. Everyone will be judged according to the light that they had and one sin against it will keep them out of heaven. Hold tight to your faith in Jesus and your good conscience. If you loose your grip, there is no telling how far you may fall.
